International Student Insurance

At Glendale Community College, we take your well being seriously. In the US, health insurance is needed to guarantee access to healthcare at all times. As a GCC student, you also have access to quality medical and emotional care at theStudent Health Center. To ensure your health, all international students are automatically enrolled in our affordable international student insurance plan.

Health Insurance on OPT

Students in the US for Spring 2023will be able to access the insurance company's website and download the Spring 2023 insurance card afterMarch 10, 2023. If you need your insurance card prior to this day to visit a health care office or fill a prescription, or if you need to enroll a dependent (spouse or child) for Spring 2023, please contact us atgcciso@glendale.edu请求援助。请注意that you must have paid your Spring health insurance fees to receive your card early. Students who will remain in their home country for Spring 2023 mustopt out of the insurance plan by Sunday,February 19, 2023.There will be no exceptions - if you do not opt out by this date, you will be responsible for the health insurance fee. International Mental Health Support. All GCC students are encouraged to seek medical and emotional care at theStudent Health Center. If you are currently located in your home country, you can check out additional resources onSuicide Stop, which has therapy resources and a worldwide list of hotlines organized by country. The Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health is offering iPrevailFREEto all LA County residents. iPrevail is an online mental health resource residents can use 24/7 to get support.
